As great as it would be to own all of this gear, not all of it is required for sailing. However, in order to stay safe while sailing, there is certain gear that you will absolutely need on your boat.

Should an emergency occur, having first aid kits, life jackets, and additional safety equipment are essential to ensure the care of passengers on your boat. Radio and navigation should also be present especially when sailing in the open seas or on the coastline.
